I have been involved in amateur radio since my teenage years. I started in the Citizens Band (CB / PX) and later moved into amateur radio, earning my Class D and Class C licenses.
After several years of activity, I took a break from the hobby for about 10 years. During that time (2015 ~ 2025), many things changed — both in the world and in amateur radio. We experienced a global pandemic, new digital modes such as FT8 became widely adopted, CW was no longer mandatory for licensing in Brazil, in line with international practices, and artificial intelligence became part of everyday life.
Returning to amateur radio has been an exciting experience, combining tradition, technology, and experimentation.
